Rainbows are Back

The world’s happiest 5km Run/Walk is back!! And what better way to celebrate

“recovery” than being part of the only Colour Run that will take place in 2021

Get ready for the festive season and start with spending some colourful, quality

family time together with The “Exclusive” Colour Run on Saturday 27 November 2021

at the greatest venue in Gauteng,- The Mall of Africa. Exclusive? -yes! It will be the

only Colour Run this year in South Africa and will be limited to only 2,000 runners and walkers.

The Colour Run provides fun and entertainment to all ages and will probably be

the most fun you will have while exercising together as a family.

The Colour Run is a 5-kilometre event in which thousands of participants are

splashed in different colours at each kilometre. With no winners or official times,

The Colour Run caters to everyone - from first-time runners to seasoned athletes.

The bright colours of the Colour Run resemble the optimism for the future.

It is a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C dyes and although it

can be washed out, the memories will stay forever.

The Colour Run is open to everyone and children under two participate for free.

Mini runners’ entry tickets are available for children between the ages of 2 – 12.
Each Colour Runner will also receive a race shirt, medal, race number and packet of powder.

Once off only: Being the only Colour Run this year in South Africa each participant will receive

two bags of powder instead of just one. Before Covid-19, The Colour Run was globally the most

successful 5-kilometre fun run and walk event with millions participating.

In south Africa the event was hosted nationally in more than twelve cities.

Sportsvendo confirmed that for 2021 it will only be possible to host one event and with the

Mall of Africa being central to Gauteng and surrounding provinces, it was the natural choice as venue.

The Mall of Africa is South Africa’s largest shopping mall.

Visit their website for more information on retailers as well as extended shopping hours for the

festive season that will be announced soon.

Jakaranda Liggiefees @ Greenlyn Market 11-19 Dec 2021

Jakaranda Liggiefees @Greenlyn Market - Pretoria’s Ultimate Food and Craft market in aid of Jakaranda Children’s Home

The year 2021 started with hope and promise – who would have thought that this year would turn out to be one of the most challenging years of our times? We thought 2020 was a tough year, little did we know! We are, however, pushing ahead and slowly making it to the other side! We hope to awaken and spread the Christmas spirit that offers us comfort and love after this uncertain year…therefore we bring you the GOOD NEWS! Once again, EnterActive Productions will host the Jakaranda Liggiefees @Greenlyn Market - at the beautiful and popular Greenlyn Village Centre, to raise the much-needed funds to assist the Jakaranda Children’s Home with covering expenses until their next funding comes in. Two thirds of the ticketing fees will be donated towards the Children’s Home.

Beautifully, bright, Christmas-themed stalls and friendly vendors offer handicrafts and gifts, freshly baked goods and delicious, mouth-watering, regional and local specialties. Come and experience tempting aromas, the festive glow of lights, delicious treats and enchanting entertainment. The perfect place to fill your gift bags, pantry, tickle your taste buds and lift your festive spirit!

A decade ago Jakaranda Children’s Home decided to give their children the prosperous gift of a magical festive season filled with lights, love and laughter!  Over a decade later the Jakaranda Kinderhuis Liggiefees grew into one of the most popular light festivals in Pretoria.    Unfortunately for the second year in a row, they will not be able to host their traditional Jakaranda Kinderhuis Liggiefees on their premises at the Children’s Home.  “But please do not be gloomy” said Charlene Grobler, CEO of Jakaranda Children’s Home. “Last year EnterActive Productions hosted our lights at their unbelievable Night Light Christmas Market.  Together with our lights, and their beautiful night market, they raise much needed funds for us. We are privileged that they have chosen to join hands with us again this year, we are humbled” said a thankful Grobler.
